Due Dates for Library Materials/Equipment
Russell Library faculty and staff are encouraging faculty, staff, and students to not return the library items they currently have checked out. This includes Russell Library books, DVDs, and equipment, as well as Interlibrary Loan materials and GIL Express books. As a part of our support of instruction during this time, Russell Library will be adjusting due dates to prevent overdue notices and/or fines. As a result of this process, all items that would have been due during the period of 3/1 to 4/15 are now due on 5/1. If a return to campus does not happen by that date, the library will continue to adjust due dates forward to continue our support.
Currently, the GIL Express service is suspended, as well as all physical item requests via Interlibrary Loan. Any of these items currently on their way to Russell Library will not be available until there is a return to campus. Interlibrary Loan for digital resources will remain available for new requests, with delivery online for those resources.
To place a new ILL request (articles only), use the FindIt option in GALILEO or enter your request manually on our interlibrary loan web site. Use your UNIFY credentials to log in.
