Q. I notice that on some research papers the authors are not in alphabetical order. For an APA-style paper, when I list a research paper in my references, should I list the authors in alphabetical order or as they appear on the paper?
Always follow the order of the authors as listed from the publication. Reference entries should be alphabitized in the reference list, but the order of the authors in individual citations should not be altered.
