I started with a general Discover search to find the right keywords/terms. It's helpful to chose one or two terms at first before adding all of your variables. I started with tourism AND Caribbean and limited my results to Scholarly (peer reviewed) journals. I noticed that some of the articles focused on cruise ships.

I next tackled 'Carribean' again. I found the term too limiting. I searched again for "cruise ships" AND "economy". That led me to the term "developing countries", a possible broader term. I settled on the search:

( "cruise ships" OR "cruise industry" ) AND "developing countries"

From the subjects limiter (lefthand sidebar), I selected: economic development, sustainable development, and tourism -- research to further narrow my search. I now have 70 results to look through to understand more about the topic.
