Unfortunately, the latest edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association does not yet cover how to cite online communications, such as tweets and Facebook posts.  However, the manual recommends that in cases where an explicit example is not provided, the writer should choose an example similiar to the source being cited and follow that format. Librarians in the Research Center are happy to assist you with choosing a similar source to use as a guide.
